Where we pour concrete

We're based on Gray Road in Noblesville. Most of our work is in Hamilton County, and we take jobs in a ring of towns around Indianapolis beyond it.

Where we work most weeks

Each of these has its own permit rules, fire pit rules and soil, and we've written them up town by town.

Past the Hamilton County line

Geist is the reservoir and the neighborhoods around it, which reach into Fishers, McCordsville and Indianapolis. Greenfield and New Palestine are in Hancock County; Avon and Brownsburg are in Hendricks County; Greenwood is in Johnson County.

The same ground, town to town

Almost everywhere we work sits on glacial till: the federal soil survey maps Crosby, Brookston and Miami soils across most of Hamilton and Hancock counties, and Crosby, Treaty and Miami in Boone. Those soils drain slowly and hold water through winter and spring, and Indiana's code sets the frost depth at 30 inches in all three counties. That's why every patio, drive and walk we pour starts with a compacted stone base and a slope that moves water away from the house, no matter which town it's in.

What changes at the town line is the paperwork. Driveway aprons in the street need a right-of-way or encroachment permit almost everywhere, Carmel and McCordsville want permits for most patios, and fire pit setbacks run from 25 feet in Noblesville and Carmel to 100 feet in Zionsville. See the fire pit rules by town, or pick your service: stamped patios, driveways, pool decks.
